The shape of the product
Deltasys is one model with four windows on it. The Estimator produces a classed estimate and hands it to the Planner as a resource-loaded baseline. The Planner holds the schedule, the progress, the actuals, the risk and the change on every project. Time Control collects everyone's hours against the project activities and feeds the approved time into the Planner's actuals. The Portfolio window reads every project in the workspace and rolls them up for the executive review. Nothing is retyped between them.
The apps run in the browser. Without an account, projects stay on your device. With a cloud workspace, they are shared with the people you invite and kept on our servers in Toronto, Canada.
Conventions in these pages
- Rail: the toolbar down the side of the Planner window, in four groups: File, Edit, View and Panels. It can be moved to the left or the right.
- Panel: a drawer that opens beside the schedule from the Panels group, such as Project, Risk or Changes req.
- Bottom pane: the tabs under the schedule: Details, Resource histogram, Progress curves, Commodity curves, Skyline, Forecast and Risk.
- Dates are shown as
yyyy-mm-dd. Durations are in working days of the activity's calendar. Money is in the project's currency with no symbol.
